Summary
  • Citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis must complete the Antigua and Barbuda Entry Form before arriving, whether by sea or air. No visa is needed.

  • Submit the form 24–72 hours before departure, either through the official government site or with iVisa for early access, support, and form accuracy.

  • Failure to complete the form may result in denied entry, so apply ahead of time and ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months.

Whether you're hopping over for a quick weekend escape or staying longer, citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis need to take care of one important detail: the Antigua and Barbuda Entry Form.

Do nationals of St. Kitts & Nevis need the Antigua and Barbuda Entry Form?

Yes. Even though St. Kitts and Nevis passport holders can travel to Antigua and Barbuda visa-free, the entry form is still a mandatory step for all arrivals.

This online form is part of Antigua and Barbuda’s updated travel clearance system and replaces the old paper-based system at the border.

💡 Tanya Lewis, Caribbean travel coordinator, explains:

“Think of it like a digital customs declaration. It’s not a visa, but it’s a required document for everyone entering Antigua and Barbuda, even neighbors like us.”

Do I need the form even for a short visit or cruise stop?

Yes. The Entry Form must be filled out whether you’re arriving by:

  • Commercial airline

  • Private boat or plane

  • Cruise ship

⛔ There are no exceptions, no matter how short your stay is or how you arrive.

When should I complete the Antigua and Barbuda Entry Form?

The form must be submitted within 72 hours of arrival, but we recommend completing it at least a week before your trip to avoid last-minute issues.

If you use iVisa, we’ll handle the early prep and ensure it’s submitted as soon as the window opens, so it lands in your inbox in time for your trip.

How do I fill out the Antigua and Barbuda Entry Form from Saint Kitts & Nevis?

You can:

  • Apply for free on the government website

  • Or use iVisa or our mobile app for help with the process, early access, and expert review

You’ll need the following:

Document Purpose
A valid passport (recommended 6 months validity) ID
Proof of onward or return travel To prove your intention to return home
Travel itinerary or hotel confirmation Show where you’ll be staying
Travel insurance Not required but highly recommended due to high medical costs in the country

💡 David Gumbs, local guesthouse owner, shares:

“If you’re heading over, don’t skip insurance. A small health issue can cost big here. Better safe than sorry!”

Does the Entry Form cost anything?

The form itself is free if submitted through the government site.

If you choose to apply via iVisa, you’ll pay a small service fee in exchange for faster processing, early filing, and expert review to avoid common mistakes.
