Learn More: ED Card

What you need to know

  • The Aruba ED card must be filled in at least 7 days before arrival in Aruba by all travelers. It DOES NOT replace a visa. If your country requires a visa, the immigration officers will ask for your Visa when you enter the country.

  • Upon arrival to Aruba, the respective authorities have the prerogative to screen and test you for COVID-19 as well as interview you in order to determine if you are freely admissible to Aruba under the Immigration laws and applicable health rules and regulations.

  • It is highly recommended that you keep your ED Card Number and the associated QR Code with you either as a soft copy (smartphone, tablet, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of any failure in the system.

The Aruba tourism authority has opened its borders for tourists to travel and visit the island. But, all tourists arriving in Aruba will have to fill out an online embarkation/disembarkation card, which the Aruban government must approve in order to be allowed entry.

The name Aruba online ED-Card means that it is an official Aruba embarkation-disembarkation card and is a mandatory form that all visitors to Aruba must complete. However, we know that this procedure can become tedious. That is why iVisa has created an easy application form to help you quickly obtain the travel document.

You only need to contact one of our experts, and you can even apply in advance to alleviate stress and have no problems traveling.

I'm flying out to Aruba but there's been a hiccup—my original flight was canceled, and I've been rebooked for the following day. Do I need to submit a new ED card to reflect my new arrival date, or is the one I already filled out still okay?

I just arrived in Aruba from Amsterdam, and I had indicated on my ED card that I'd be here only in transit and fly out in less than a day. But I’ve decided to do some sightseeing before continuing my trip. Changing my flight is no issue. But do I need to let any local authorities know about this change in plans to update my ED card?

I’m in Aruba and I fly back to Bogotá in 4 days. I filled out my ED card before arriving and it all went smoothly. My return ticket is already booked but what I’d like to know is if I need to fill out a new ED card for my departure. Or can the one I used to enter also be used when exiting the country?
