Do Colombian citizens need a Canada Visitor Visa?

Yes, Colombian citizens planning to visit Canada must first get a Canadian visa.

Also called a temporary resident visa, the Canada Visitor Visa typically allows you to stay in Canada for up to 6 months from the day you enter the country or until your passport expires (whichever comes first). If you’re a lawful permanent resident of the US with a valid green card, you can enter Canada without a visa.

With a Visitor Visa, you can travel to Canada as a tourist, visit family, attend a business meeting, conference, or trade show, or transit through the country.
