Going to Uzbekistan requires a visa for most nationalities in the world. Only 17 nationalities enjoy visa exemption, which means that the rest of them need to go through some kind of process to obtain a visa. While some nationalities are eligible for an Uzbekistan eVisa, Pakistan nationals do not enjoy this privilege. Not yet, at least. Unfortunately, Pakistan is not currently on the list of countries whose citizens can enter Uzbekistan using an electronic visa.
What are your options as a Pakistani citizen?
Most people think they need assistance to apply for a visa. Looking for an Uzbekistan visa agent in Pakistan may take time and money you could otherwise spend on more important matters. The fact is that you can do that all by yourself, with very little help from others. If you are planning to go to Uzbekistan anytime soon, all you have to do is look for an embassy and apply there.
The first thing you need to cross off your list is the embassy. You need to locate it, and depending on how far you live from it, you need to plan a trip. However, there is something you must do before leaving. And that is to check the requirements with the embassy. You will find all sorts of information online, but our advice is to use it as a reference only. The best course of action is to call the embassy and ask about the requirements. That way, you receive the information you need directly from a reliable source.
What are the requirements?
The requirements for an Uzbekistan visa for Pakistani citizens are nothing out of the ordinary. For one thing, you need to have a passport. Not only that, but the passport needs to be valid for at least another six months from the date of arrival in Uzbekistan. You must also have a passport-sized photo for your visa. Make sure that it follows all the guidelines. Even so, you can have them taken by a professional without worrying too much about it. As for the rest of the requirements, it is best if you talk to someone from the embassy.
Once you have everything you need and you reach the embassy, you will be given an application form that you need to fill in. This part may be tricky, especially if you do not understand some of the terms used on the form. Do not be afraid to ask someone to help you. It is better if you seek assistance rather than repeating the process. When you are done, you need to submit your application form along with all the other documents that you are asked to provide.
The application process at an embassy is a bit more complicated and time-consuming than applying online, but as a Pakistani citizen, you do not have much choice in the matter. For now, Pakistan is not on the list of eligible countries for visa exemption or electronic visas, which means that a consulate is your best choice.
