Why Register with the Embassy
Travel Registration is a service provided by the government. This service allows you to record information about your
upcoming trip abroad to the Department of State so it can be used to assist you in case of an emergency. People residing abroad can also get routine
information from their nearest embassy or consulate if registered.
Required Information to Apply
Once You Have Registered With Your Embassy Or Consulate, You Will Need To Update Your Data If:

- your civil status changes,

What you need to know

Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your listed arrival date.

Transit visas are issued to nationals who require a visa to enter Zambia and are transiting through using land transport.

The Transit e-Visa is valid for 7 days after arrival in Zambia.

A proof of accommodation is required to obtain the travel document. The dates in this document MUST match the travel dates selected in the application. This is a requirement that is demanded by the government in order to issue the travel document.

Failure to enter within this period renders your e-Visa Approval Letter invalid, and thus you will you will have to apply again.

What can I do if my Zambia Transit eVisa application has been canceled or rejected?
