The EPWP is not available to travelers entering American Samoa with the purpose of boarding fishing vessels or other commercial vessels.
Validity of the American Samoa Entry Permit Waiver
With the entry permit waiver for American Samoa, you can stay up to 30 days per entry. The waiver must be applied for and approved within 48 hours before traveling to American Samoa.
Without this “OK TO BOARD” approval, foreign nationals will not be able to board their airplane. However, immigration officers still hold the final authority over your permission to enter.
