Planning a trip to China? As a Belgian citizen, you may need to secure a China Tourist Visa to enter the country for tourism purposes. Although we currently don’t handle China Tourist Visa applications, this blog will provide you with the information you need to apply confidently.
Let’s begin your journey to China by getting your visa application ready.
Do Belgian citizens need a visa for China?
If your trip to mainland China is less than 15 days, you won’t need to apply for a Chinese visa (this exemption is set to expire on November 30, 2024 (Beijing time)).
If you plan to visit China for longer than 15 days, you will need to apply for a Chinese visa. Whether your plans include seeing Beijing’s ancient architecture, experiencing Shanghai’s modern wonders, or visiting family and friends, securing the right visa is essential.
In this blog, we’re going to focus on the China Tourist Visa.
Did you know? Try to avoid peak travel seasons in China, which fall during their summer season (August to September). Plan your trip outside of China's major holidays to avoid crowds and higher prices.
