Please note: The eTicket does not replace a visa.
After submitting the form, travelers receive a QR code, which they must show upon landing.
What you need to know:
- Complete the form before departure.
- Authorities may perform random health checks at the airport.
- If symptoms of illness are detected, mandatory quarantine may be enforced.
Errors on the Dominican Republic eTicket website
While the eTicket is a simple form, many applicants encounter issues when trying to register on the government website.
"I will be traveling to the Dominican in February. I was trying to get the correct dates into the eTicket, but it's impossible. Always tells me there was an error and I should enter all required fields. But I did that! I checked it 10 times, all fields have the correct data." - Daisy M., recent traveler
"The eTicket website is a total nightmare. It took around 6 tries to get it. Sometimes the form would not let me enter the birth date or flight, other times it would not offer any airport choices" - Pedro L., recent traveler
"Even though many countries scrapped COVID rules, the eTicket for the Dominican Republic is still required. Many airlines won’t let you board without it." - Ra'eesah Manack, iVisa travel expert
We can help you get the eTicket quickly and efficiently.
"You have to fill it out on a computer, on your phone you will have issues," shares a recent traveler.
