Who requires the India Medical eVisa?

Visa-exempt: Who doesn't need to apply for India Medical eVisa?
There are a few specific cases where individuals are exempt from applying for the India Medical e-Visa:

Nationals of Bhutan and Nepal: These individuals do not require visas or passports to enter and stay in India, and there is no limit on the duration of their stay. However, they should not transit through mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Pakistan before entering India.

Overseas Citizens of India and persons of Indian Origin Cardholders: These individuals are exempt from visa requirements and can live and work in India without any time limit. This policy does not apply to Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals.

Nationals of the Maldives: Since March 1979, Maldivian nationals have been able to enter India without a visa for up to 90 days.
For those not covered by these exemptions, the India Medical e-Visa is required for medical-related travel to India.
Do children also require the India Medical eVisa?
Yes, children also require the India Medical eVisa if they are traveling to India for medical purposes. Every minor must have their own eVisa regardless of age, and their legal guardians must apply for it.
When applying for a minor, guardians need to provide additional documents, such as copies of the minor's birth certificate and a consent letter signed by both parents or legal guardians.
These documents are necessary to confirm the relationship between the child and the guardians, ensuring all legal requirements are met for the child's travel to India.

Valid passport: The applicant's passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into India, with at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.

India Medical eVisa costs and processing times
We offer three processing options for the India Medical e-Visa:

Each option is priced differently to accommodate various urgency levels and budgets.
There is an additional government fee for the India Medical e-Visa of USD $82.50. This fee is fixed regardless of the processing speed chosen.
Note that our processing times are separate from government processing times, which can vary due to embassy workload and other factors. Applicants should apply at least three days before their travel date to accommodate potential delays.
