Visa Policy for Ivory coast
Ivory Coast visa policy determines who may enter the country without a visa and who requires a visa. Ivory Coast only allows visa-free access to a few nationalities at present, mostly citizens from other African countries. For tourism and business purposes, citizens of the Ivory Coast do not need a visa to stay up to 90 days. You are only required to present a valid passport valid for a minimum of six months from the date of your arrival to gain entry without a travel visa.
The Ivory Coast visa policy requires a visitor's visa for all foreigners regardless of whether they intend to stay for a short period or for an extended period. You can also get an E-visa by submitting a simplified electronic application. Visitors visas and E-visas may both be available. About 120 nationalities can apply for the electronic visa for Ivory Coast and receive approval exclusively online via email, removing the need to apply for a visa on arrival in person and spending a long time in queues at the border.
If approved, an E-visa for the Ivory Coast will be available to you for 90 days following your initial application. It allows entry to Côte d'Ivoire at Port Bouet Airport in Abidjan for short stays for tourist, business, or transit purposes. For other purposes as well as long-term stays, these citizens must obtain a visa from an Ivory Coast embassy or consulate.
At present, there is not currently any Ivory Coast visa ban in place against any foreign nationalities. However, travelers from a number of Southeast Asian, South American, and Middle Eastern countries require prior approval from the Côte d’Ivoire Ministry of Security in order to apply for a visa for the Republic. The following provides more information about the Ivory Coast visa policy.

Ivory coast Visa
No matter how long or for what purpose you are traveling, Ivory Coast's visa laws state that citizens from up to 15 countries worldwide must have a visa approved by an embassy or consulate in order to enter the West African Republic. Ivory Coast visa policy is a simple and flexible system.
As a tourist visa, student visa, business visa, transit visa, work visa, resident visa, or another type of visa, an Ivory Coast embassy can issue an Ivory Coast visa for a variety of purposes. A Côte d'Ivoire visa can be applied for at an embassy only after the applicant makes an appointment at the nearest diplomatic government office.
This confirmed appointment requires that you bring a completed Ivory Coast visa application form, with the type of visa required clearly listed on the form. In addition, depending on the type of visa selected, it may also be necessary to provide supporting documents to the consular officer. Follow the Ivory Coast visa policy for more updates.
It is highly recommended that applicants apply well in advance of the intended travel dates so that the process can be begun as early as possible. Although the process can take several weeks, it is extremely likely that the visa will be approved.
