iVisa pro tip: Speed through customs in Japan by filling out your form on the Japan Web website before you land. At Narita, there are three lanes: one for no forms (expect to wait 1-2 hours), another for paper forms (faster but with more questioning), and the quickest one for travelers with the QR code. The QR code lane gets you through in minutes—one traveler clocked their total time at just 12 minutes, including getting their tax-free sticker applied.

Is there another tourist visa for Japan?

Yes. Indian citizens can also apply for a Japan eVisa. However, to be eligible, you must hold an Indian passport but reside in one of the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, the UK, or the US.
