Is a visa on arrival available in Oman?
According to the Royal Oman Police, the authority responsible for issuing Omani visas, eligible travelers can get an Oman Visa on Arrival at an Omani airport or any other border entry point. This visa option is valid for a maximum of 30 days and is extendable.
If you’re eligible for the visa on arrival and plan to stay in the country for two weeks or less, you can get an Oman Visa on Arrival for free. This visa option is only valid for 14 days and cannot be extended.

Who can apply for an Oman Visa on Arrival?
Nationals from more than 70 G1 countries, including the UK, EU member states, Canada, and the USA, are eligible for an Oman Visa Arrival. For the complete list of eligible G1 countries, please visit the official Oman eVisa website.
Citizens of specific countries that are not G1 are eligible for the free 14-day Oman Visa on Arrival as long as they meet one of the following conditions:

Be a permanent resident or have a valid visa from the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, a Schengen country, or Japan.

Be a GCC resident with a residence permit valid for a minimum of three months from the date of entry.
These countries are Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Costa Rica, Cuba, Egypt, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

If you’re not eligible for an Oman Visa on Arrival, you could qualify for an Oman eVisa. This document is issued as a single or multiple-entry permit and allows stays of up to 30 days in a one-year period.
