What are the Oman visa requirements for UAE residents?

As members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), UAE residents have the option to apply for a special Omani tourist visa known as the GCC Resident Visa. This visa grants a single entry and a stay of up to 28 days, which can be extended for an additional week.

To be eligible for the Oman GCC Resident Visa, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must apply for the visa from outside of Oman.

• Your UAE residence visa must be valid for at least six months after you arrive in Oman.

• Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date in Oman.

• You must be employed in a profession that is recognized on the Omani government's approved list. This list can be accessed on the Oman eVisa website.

When applying for the Oman GCC Resident Visa, you will need to provide:

• A scanned copy of your passport’s bio-date page.

• A recent passport-size photo with a white background.

• A scanned copy of your valid UAE residence permit.
