What is a Sri Lanka Tourist ETA?

The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is a legal permission that authorizes you to visit Sri Lanka for tourism purposes only.

How long can visitors stay in Sri Lanka with a Tourist ETA?

The ETA is valid for 30 days after arrival in Sri Lanka. Your ETA is valid for 180 days from the date of issue.

This electronic travel authorization is a double-entry permit and allows a maximum stay of 30 days in total. In other words, you can use it twice within 180 days of issue and stay for a maximum of 1 month.

What are the documents required to apply?

You need to make sure that you meet all the below requirements to apply for your Sri Lanka ETA:

• Valid passport – Your passport must be valid for another six months from the first day of arrival in Sri Lanka.

• Valid email address – Ensure that the email you use is valid, as we will send all communication and your approved ETA via email.

• Means of payment – we offer different payment methods, such as credit and debit cards or PayPal. Before paying, make sure all the information provided is accurate.

How can I apply for a Sri Lanka Tourist ETA?
