Thailand reopened for tourism in July 2021. And since then, tourists from all eligible countries have been completing the visa application for a Thailand Visa (eVisa). There’s no need to visit a Royal Thai embassy or consulate. Below, we’ll tell you how to get this document online using iVisa's services.

What is the Thailand Tourist Visa?
It is an electronic visa that allows foreign nationals of certain countries to legally enter Thailand. The eVisa is now all electronic and allows foreigners to obtain their visas to Thailand more easily, without going to a Royal Thai embassy or consulate.
This travel document can be easily obtained through the iVisa platform. With us, you can apply for your Visa using our 100% online guided process.
Which nationalities can apply for the Thailand visa?
Citizens of the following 29 countries are eligible for the Thailand Visas service:
- Albania, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guam, Haiti, Jamaica, Kosovo, Malta, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Montenegro, Nauru, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent & Grenadines, Serbia, Tuvalu, and Vatican City
How long is the Thai visa valid?
The Thailand e-Visa is valid for 60 days after arrival. You can use this tourist visa to visit Thailand only once. It’s not a multiple-entry visa.
What are the Thailand visa requirements and policy?
To begin your Thai tourist visa application, you’ll need the following items:
- Applicant's Photo
- Passport page
- Travel booking confirmation
- Proof of accommodation (if applicable)
- Proof of Residence
- Work ID of host (if applicable)
With your Thai Visa, you'll be able to enter Thailand through Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Don Mueang International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, or Phuket International Airport.
Upon arrival, you will need to present your tourist visa and your passport at the immigration area.
How do I apply for the Thailand visa online?
Completing the Thai visa application process is very easy. You’ll just need to follow these three steps and you’ll be done in no time.
-
Step one: Fill out the visa application form. The Thai immigration bureau office requires that you include your personal information (as stated in your valid passport) and some information regarding your stay in Thailand. We recommend that you have the details of your flight and accommodation handy. Once you’re done, you can select how fast you want to receive your Thai visa.
-
Step two: Double-check that all the information in the visa application form is correct. We want to avoid any issues with your application. All the details need to match your supporting documents. Once you’re sure everything is correct, you can proceed to pay the visa fee.
-
Step three: Upload all the supporting documents and submit your visa application form. Make sure that the scan is clear and has no smudges.
Visa applicants will receive their valid tourist visa and a receipt by email so make sure you're aware of anything incoming from iVisa. To get your eVisa with us you won’t need to visit a Thai embassy or consulate.
You must save this in a safe place on your electronic device and it is recommended to print it out so you can easily show it on arrival in Thailand.
