When they travel, some people prefer to apply and obtain a multiple-entry Schengen visa. That allows them to enter any country that is a part of the Schengen Area Treaty. Unfortunately, Ukraine is not a part of that treaty, and while there are a few countries in the world that accept a Schengen visa, Ukraine is not one of them. As a result, you need to apply for a visa before you leave for Ukraine.

Do you want to know more about what to do if you want to travel to Ukraine? Then keep reading this article.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is my alternative?

The best way to apply for a Ukraine visa is online. Of course, you need to be eligible to apply for one, but you can easily find that out using iVisa’s Visa Checker. If you qualify, you will be able to apply in just 10 minutes. iVisa provides excellent visa expediting services, and your effort in the whole process will be almost non-existent.

What is a Ukraine Tourist eVisa?

The Ukrainian Tourist eVisa is the official travel document needed by foreigners for tourism purposes to visit Ukraine.

What documents do I need to submit my application?

As for the requirements, the details are still to be decided, but there are some available guidelines that should help you gather everything you need. Below, you will find a list of information and documents you need to provide so that iVisa can get the application process started.

  • Valid passport – every applicant who wishes to visit Ukraine and is eligible for an electronic visa needs to have a valid passport. However, the said passport needs to be valid for at least another six months from the date of arrival in the country. This is a general rule applicable to almost all electronic visas.

  • Digital photo – just how you are required to provide a passport-sized photo for your consular visa, the same way it is necessary you have your picture taken for an electronic visa. The only difference is that you need this one in a digital format. After all, you need to upload it during the application process.

  • E-mail address – one of the best things about electronic visas is that you receive the document you apply for in a digital format. Your Ukraine e-visa arrives via e-mail in PDF format.

  • Means of online payment – you cannot pay for your electronic visa using cash. You need to use an online payment method. iVisa accepts credit or debit cards, but you can also use PayPal. Whichever you find most comfortable.

How does this document works?

This eVisa is electronically issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which makes it an official document to enter the country. Here at iVisa, we submit your application through the issuing authorities' website to make sure is according to their regulations. Once your application is approved, we'll receive an e-mail from them with your eVisa attached to it.

What do I have to do in order to apply?

As you can imagine, you must also fill in an application form, but do not worry. The form created by iVisa is concise. You should be done with it in no more than 10 minutes, and if you feel stuck, you can call iVisa’s support service. It is free of charge and available 24/7.

You need to complete three steps:

  1. The first one consists of general information, but you must also select a processing time. The latter will determine the cost of your visa and the timeframe in which your application is processed.

  2. The second step consists of payment and revision. As for the latter, you need to be very careful so that your information is accurate and all the words are spelled correctly. Any inconsistency will make your Ukraine visa invalid.

  3. The last step is all about document upload. Do not be concerned about not knowing what you need to upload because iVisa will notify you about that.

Can my eVisa be modified in case I've made a mistake on my application?

If you realize about it, please contact us immediately through our online chat or by e-mail to help@iVisa. Nonetheless, if your eVisa has already been issued, we will not be able to correct it if a mistake has been made.
